Microsoft has just introduced the Surface Book 3 and Surface Go 2 laptops, among other devices to its ever-growing Surface family. The Surface Book 3 didn’t seem to go through a lot of changes but now has the latest 10th Generation Intel CPUs.
Surface Book 3
The Surface Book 3 is available in 13.5 inches and 15 inches. Both variants can go up to 32GB of RAM and up to 2TB PCIe NVMe SSDs.
The 13.5-inch variant can either have a Core i5 or Core i7 under the hood. The base model is priced at USD 1,599 (around PHP 80,800). If you want a discrete NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q GPU on the 13.5-inch variant, it begins at USD 1,999 (around PHP 101,000).
The 15-inch model, on the other hand, can have up to a Core i7 CPU. As far as GPU options go, the bigger variant is offered with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660Ti or a Quadro RTX 3000 GPU. The latter starts at USD 3,499 (around PHP 176,800).
Surface Go 2
The Surface Go 2, on the other hand, is the company’s smallest 2-in-1 laptop in the Surface series. Despite a larger display at 10.5 inches, the Surface Go 2 has drastically smaller bezels and even thinner than its predecessor. Its resolution clocks in at a higher 1920×1280 with a 3:2 aspect ratio.
The 2-in-1 Surface laptop comes in either a Pentium Gold CPU or a new 8th Generation Core m3 variant. The former comes as a base option for USD 399 (around PHP 20,200). The Core m3 option comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB SSD for USD 629 (around PHP 31,800). The higher specced variant also comes with LTE connectivity but will bump up the price to USD 729 (around PHP 36,800).
The Type Cover is sold separately and is priced at USD 99 (around PHP 5,000).
