Along with the S20 Series, Samsung’s clamshell foldable, the Galaxy Z Flip also officially debuted in the Philippines, giving consumers a taste of the company’s latest innovations.

Designed for portability, the device can simply flip into the size of a wallet. The hinge that it uses is an engineering marvel – sophisticated, small, and protected from foreign particles to ensure that every fold is smooth and stable.
Galaxy Z Flip has a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-Flex display, along with a 1.1-inch Super AMOLED display on its cover, giving you a glance at the time, date, battery status, and even your notifications.
Under the hood is a Snapdragon 855+, backed by 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. It runs on Android 10, and packs a 3,300mAh dual battery. It’s also compatible with wired and wireless fast-charging, and can do Wireless PowerShare.
For its cameras, Galaxy Flip has a dual rear camera system – 12MP Wide-Angle, and 12MP Ultra-Wide. It’s backed by features like OIS and Super Speed Dual Pixel AF. It can also do up to 8X digital zoom, as well as HDR10+ recording.
Its sophisticated hinge allows the cover to be positioned in various angles, and allows for hands-free picture taking.
Samsung has also worked closely with Google, the result of which is Flex Mode, a feature that works like split-screen, allowing you to for example, watch a YouTube video on the top half of the screen, while searching for other videos on the lower half.

Pricing and Availability
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is priced at PhP79,990, and will be available in limited quantities starting February 21, 2020.
Smart is also offering the device for pre-order on its Signature Plans.
