SanDisk has just unveiled a prototype for an 8TB portable external SSD along with a small 1TB flash drive. The drive is said to be able to fit into most pockets.

Not much else was announced regarding the SanDisk 8TB portable SSD drive aside from the expected 20Gbps transfer speeds from the SuperSpeed USB protocol.

This isn’t the first time the company has featured a prototype at the convention. The tech company showed off its 4TB flash drive prototype last year.

The company also announced the 1TB SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe USB-C drive. The drive was originally revealed at CES 2018 and is designed to fit a keychain. It also comes with a USB-A port for when a USB-C port is unavailable. The 1TB USB-C drive is reported to arrive in late Q1 2020 and will cost around USD 250 (around PHP 12,700).
