MSI has just announced the Optix MAG342CQR, the company’s 1000R curved gaming monitor at the CES 2020. This demonstrates MSI’s strong confidence and dedicated investment in Curved Gaming monitors.
1000R refers to the curvature of the monitor. At 1000R, it shares the same curvature as the human eye which makes the viewing experience on the Optix MAG342CQR as natural as they come.
The MSI Optix MAG342CQR stands in at 34 inches with a VA Curved 1000R panel. As with many modern monitors, the MAG342CQR is a bezel-less beast and has 3440×1440 Ultra-Wide QHD resolution.
The curved monitor also features Night Vision, Gaming Echo, and Mystic Light. Night Vision allows gamers to adjust pitch-black scenes in games. Gaming Echo, on the other hand, flashes the light of the monitor based on the audio signal. The last of which is, of course, the company’s RGB lighting software.
When the MSI and the world’s first 1000R curved gaming monitor becomes available has yet to be announced.
