OPPO has recently revealed that it will be bringing the new Reno2 series in the Philippines. The Reno2 and Reno2F are both packed with features that allow users to express themselves by creating stories that inspire and empower.
The new Reno2 series features a unique design that eliminates hindrances to a seamless and flowing look, like the protruding rear camera module, or the notch on the screen. Both are also protected by Gorilla Glass at the front and back, so they would be able to withstand the ups and downs of your adventures.
Reno2 and Reno2 F pack 6.5-inch AMOLED displays, the former with a 20:9 aspect ratio, and the latter with 19.5:9. Both are also at FHD+ resolution. Under the hood, Reno2 boasts a Snapdragon 730, while Reno2 F sticks to a Helio P70. Both backed by 8GB of RAM. For storage, it’s 256GB UFS 2.1 for the Reno2 and 128GB for the Reno2 F.
One notable upgrade to the first Reno is the quad rear cam setup. For the Reno2, you get a 48MP Sony IMX586 main sensor with OIS and EIS, along with a 13MP telephoto lens, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP Monochrome lens. The Reno2 F on the other hand, uses a 48MP Samsung GM1 main sensor with EIS, and ditches the 13MP telephoto camera for a 2MP portrait lens. It also has an 8MP wide-angle shooter, and a 2MP Monochrome lens.
The Reno2 in particular boasts a new feature called Ultra Steady Video, which minimizes shake when shooting videos of up to 1080p 60fps using the main rear camera, and can be activated via the Camera app.
Both have a 16MP front camera with a soft front light, and AI-assisted beautification. Both are hidden in a motorized pop-up module – Reno2 uses a shark fin design, while Reno2 F sticks to a more traditional style.
