Acer introduced the refreshed models of the Swift ultra-portable notebook along with its Aspire all-in-one desktop PCs, all powered by the latest 10th Gen Intel Core processors and Windows 10.
These devices are the Acer Swift 5 (SF514-54T/SF514-54GT), Swift 3 (SF314-57/SF314-57G), and the Acer Aspire C.
The Acer Swift 5 is a 14-inch notebook with a chassis made from magnesium-lithium and magnesium-alloys. It weighs in at 990 grams with the option to have the new discrete NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics or the newly updated integrated Intel Iris Pro graphics.
The display is a 14-inch Full HD IPS touchscreen. It also features a three-side narrow bezel with a screen-to-body ratio of 86.4%.
The latest Swift 5 also has up to a 10th Generation Intel Core i7-1065G7 processor and a maximum of 512GB PCIe Gen 3×4 SSD storage. It has a full-function USB 3.1 Type-C connector that supports Thunderbolt 3, dual-band Intel Wi-Fi (802.11ax), and Windows Hello via a fingerprint reader.
It offers up to 12.5 hours of battery life and supports fast-charging, providing up to 4.5 hours of use with a 30-minute charge.
The Acer Swift 3 is a stylish and lightweight notebook with a 14-inch Full HD IPS display. With 4.37mm bezels, the screen-to-body ratio is at 84%. It also comes with Acer Color Intelligence and Acer ExaColor Technology for color enhancement and vivid images. It comes in Steel Gray and Millennial Pink.
The latest Swift 3 has up to a 10th Generation Intel Core i7-1065G7 processor with Iris Plus graphics and optional NVIDIA GeForce MX250 GPU. It also includes up to a 512GB PCIe Gen 3×4 SSD storage, 16GB LPDDR4X RAM, Thunderbolt 3, and dual-band Intel Wi-Fi 6.
Like the Swift 5, the Swift 3 offers up to 12.5 hours of battery and fast charging that is said to provide 4 hours of battery life with 30 minutes charging.
Lastly, the Acer Aspire C is an ultra-thin all-in-one desktop at just 6.8mm. It is available in 27-inch, 24-inch, and 22-inch Full HD IPS display options. All versions of the Aspire C are powered by 10th Gen Intel Core processors and an optional discrete NVIDIA MX130 GPU. This is partnered with up to a 1TB storage via M.2 NVMe SSD and up to a 2TB storage with a 2.5-inch HDD, alongside 32GB of DDR4-2666 memory.
The Aspire C also has privacy in mind with an option to close the camera shutter when the webcam isn’t being used. It also has Acer Vision Care along with Acer Bluelight Shield and Flickerless technology. All three help with eye comfort.
