After being leaked last week, the Vivo Y3 is now official!
The Y3 has a 6.35-inch LCD display with 1544×720 resolution and an aspect ratio of 19.3:9. This gives the smartphone a screen-to-body ratio of 89%.
Under the hood, the Y3 has a MediaTek Helio P35 SoC with 4GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage that can be expanded.
The latest Vivo phone has a triple rear camera setup with a 13MP main with f/2.2 aperture, 8MP wide-angle with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP depth-sensing camera with f/2.4 aperture. While in the waterdrop-shaped notch is its 16MP camera.
On the rear is its fingerprint scanner but it also includes facial recognition, AI-based digital assistant Jovi, Easy Mode, and an esports mode called, Game Cube. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack and runs on Android Pie-based Funtouch OS 9 out of the box.
A massive 5000mAh battery powers the Y3 with 18W Dual-Engine Fast Charging support. It does charge only through a microUSB port though.
The Vivo Y3 comes in three colors, Peacock Blue, Peach Pink, and Ink Blue. It is currently available in China through the Vivo online store for CNY 1,500 and through JD.com for CNY 1,498.
