Samsung Galaxy M series to launch in India

Samsung is set to launch the Galaxy M series in India on January 28. The mid-tier line from Samsung will reportedly compete with the cheaper China smartphone brands.

Based on the photos, it looks like the Galaxy M-phones will feature a teardrop notch which they call the Infinity V. They’ll also sport an ultra-wide angle camera, a large battery, and fast charging technology. To top it off, they will have a USB-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Only three devices have been detailed according to rumors. The Galaxy M30 and Galaxy M20 will both have dual cameras on the back and a massive 5,000mAh battery. The Galaxy M30 is the bigger of the two devices at a reported 6.3”, while the Galaxy M20 will have a 6.13” display (1080p+) and an Exynos 7885 chipset.

The Galaxy M10 is the smallest of the three with a 6” display and a 3,400mAh battery. It will also be powered by an Exynos 7870 chipset with 3GB of RAM.

The icing on the cake is the expected price of the M10 and M20 which are set at INR 10,000 (around PHP 7,381.95) and INR 15,000 (around PHP 11,072.46), respectively. These are reportedly going to be exclusively online, which in India means Amazon and the official Samsung website.
