One of the key focus points of the ASUS’ “Incredible Intelligence” event in Malaysia were the newest gaming products under the Republic of Gamers Brand. And one of the best highlights is perhaps the new ROG Strix XG49VQ.
The XG49VQ is a 49-inch curved gaming monitor with 3840 x 1080p resolution (32:9), 144Hz refresh rate, which guarantees fluid and smooth visuals. Of course you have to have a system that can take advantage of its potential.
But this isn’t your average gaming monitor, as it also has FreeSync 2 HDR, ASUS Shadow Boost Technology, which helps you scout enemies in dark situations, and picture by picture mode, which can show content from up to 3 devices at the same time, you can play your game, get tips and tricks, and still monitor your social media account from the same monitor.
Pricing and availability hasn’t been announced, yet. But I do hope we get this one here in the Philippines.
