Samsung has recently announced something that’s quite unexpected – a mid-range device with a triple camera system. Say hello to the new Galaxy A7.
The Galaxy A7 sports a 6-inch Super AMOLED Infinity display with FHD+ resolution, and is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core processor, along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, expandable with a microSD card.
As mentioned, the device boasts a triple camera system at the back – a 24MP main sensor, an 8MP sensor for wide angle shots, and a 5MP sensor for depth sensing. It has Live focus, which lets you adjust the bokeh effect, along with Scene Optimizer, which can automatically adjust the camera settings depending on your subject.
The 24MP front camera is augmented by an adjustable LED flash, along with Selfie Focus for adding a bokeh effect, AR Emojis, and Pro Lighting Mode that mimics professional studio lighting. Other features include Bixby, and Dolby Atmos support.
The Galaxy A7 runs on Android 8.0 Oreo, and packs a 3.300mAh battery.
Samsung is committed to delivering meaningful innovation to all consumers across the Galaxy family, no matter who they are or where they are in the world. That’s why we’re excited to introduce innovative new features to the A series with the Galaxy A7, a practical but powerful device that is built to help make your everyday both convenient and extraordinary.DJ Koh, President and CEO of IT & Mobile Communications Division at Samsung Electronics
