It wasn’t long ago when the Galaxy J6 was launched locally, and Samsung isn’t showing any signs of stopping, and continues to beef up its mid-range lineup today, with the launch of the new Galaxy J8.
The Samsung Galaxy J8 features a premium and sleek design with its glossy finish, and has a large 6-inch Super AMOLED display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio, and HD+ resolution. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450, along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage expandable with a microSD card.
The device houses a dual 16MP + 5MP rear camera system, the latter used for adding a depth effect to your photos, up front is another 16MP sensor with LED flash, and is also used for facial recognition. It comes with Samsung Experience UI on top of Android Oreo, and packs a 3,500mAh battery.
The J8 also comes pre-loaded with the Samsung Members App, which gives access to exclusive promos, offers, and freebies, as well as premium services and other relevant information.
The Samsung Galaxy J8 comes in Black, Gold, and Purple colors, and is priced at PhP15,990. Pre-order a unit starting July 21, and receive a FREE JBL Clip 2 Speaker, screen protector, and insurance for your device. You may also get PhP1,000 off the SRP if you purchase a unit on August 4 to 5, 2018.
