While it was initially rumored that Cherry Mobile will release the Flare S6 and S6 Plus, the announcement of the Flare S6 Selfie was quite a surprise. We’re guessing they’re sticking to what’s popular and trending, even among the competition.
The Flare S6 Selfie’s main asset is its 16MP front-facing camera, which was co-developed with Morpho, a Japanese company which specializes in imaging technologies. So can we expect better photos from this phone? probably. But we’ll have to see during our review.
There’s also a 16MP camera at the back, which should be almost as powerful as the one in front. The device sports a 5.2-inch Full HD display, and is driven by an octa-core MT6750T processor along with 3GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, and a 2,600mAh battery.
The Flare S6 also features Hi-Fi audio, USB Type-C Connectivity, and Cherry Mobile’s own take on Android, Cherry OS, which is based on Android 7.0 Nougat.
