MERALCO held its Technology and Innovation Summit (MTECH) last August 23 to 25, 2016. In this event, an exhibit and experience zone was set up for the company’s technology and business partners to showcase their latest products.

Among the participants were some of the biggest names in the industry such as Dell, Hitachi, SAP, Lenovo, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Huawei, Schneider Electric, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Microsoft, Trend Micro, Smart and PLDT. MERALCO itself showcased its latest offering, KURYENTE LOAD. The prepaid electricity service.

Aside from the usual slew of laptops, PCs, Tablets, Printers, Appliances, and many more consumer products, the exhibit also featured Smart Home Solutions by Schneider Electric, Smart Sensors and Appliance Control through Smart Plugs by Indra, Electric Consumption Monitoring and Analytics by CALIBR8. Pocket sessions were also held throughout the 3-day event. Focusing on various topics and were facilitated by speakers from SAP, Schneider Electric, Hitachi, Microsoft, Siemens, Intel, Lenovo, and Smart Communications.

On the last day of the event, MERALCO held day-long forum on its vision, with presentations from international speakers.
