You may have probably heard from the blogosphere (wait, do people still use that word?) that the official launch of Zenfone 2 in the Philippines will be this May 16, 2015. Earlier today, at exactly 1:53PM (May 7, 2015), ASUS posted the event registration link on their Facebook page. The link leads to a microsite dedicated for the Philippine launch of ASUS’ most awaited smartphone.
The registration page was open to consumers, media and dealers. Everyone who registered via the page will get a free Zenfone 2 T-Shirt (T-shirt is okay, of course) and a chance to win a Zenfone 2. Judging by the venue where the event shall happen on May 16 (Hall A, World Trade Center), we are certain that ASUS have really prepared to satisfy and entertain hundreds of people who wishes to have a glimpse of the new Zenfone.
5 hours from the time the event registration page was opened, ASUS Philippines Social Media Head, Eason de Guzman, informed us that the registration has reached is quota limit. Fortunately, those who didn’t get the chance to register will still have a chance to win a Zenfone 2 by simply watching the livestream on May 16. Instructions on how to join will be announced during the livestream accordingly.

We would like to congratulate ASUS for their incredible handling of the event registration. And for our readers and for those who successfully registered, we’ll see you there as we’re one of the official bloggers who shall cover the event. Our tech correspondent, Dennis Mondoyo, will be to give full report.
