Bye bye finger marks! Hello smudge-free creativity!
We just got a Bamboo Stylus duo from our friends from Wacom. We just opened the box and I just couldn’t help but share with you how accurate and smooth its nib is.
The new Stylus Duo from the company that enables creative people just has everything I need to get things accomplished whether for personal or for professional use.
It has premium aluminum finish, with a design that blends very well with the iPad, Mac, Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact or even other devices with faux or real metal finish. It only weighs 14g, and only measures 133mm with its cap on. Inside the cap hides a ballpoint pen, which you can conveniently use to write on paper. And if you’re in the mood for writing or drawing on your tablet, you can easily do so by using the nib on the other side of the ballpoint pen.
The nib is made of carbon fiber, which assures that you’ll be able to use this stylus for a long time. You can also easily replace if it eventually wears out. It is compatible to most tablets. I managed to use this on my Cherry Mobile Alpha Morph, Nexus 7 and iPad3 without any issues. Bamboo/Wacom offers 2 free applications to maximize the Stylus Duo and boost your creative side – Bamboo Paper and Bamboo Loop. For starters, you can download Bamboo Paper, which you can use to draw, sketch and doodle anything you want. It’s available on Android, Windows and iOS. Bamboo Loop on the other hand is a photosharing app, which lets you create digital post cards and sling it to your friends. It’s available on Android and iOS.
The pen, however, is equally smooth just like its nib. I’m worried though if its official resellers here in the Philippines are also offering replacement inks for the Stylus Duo.
The new stylus is available in various colors – pink, orange, green, blue, light gray and graphite.
