First Call Recorder for N900 Now Available

Recording your mama’s reminders is now just a click away with Tom Waelti‘s Recaller Application.

Waelti has once again used is his coding prowess with his latest application/widget for the Nokia N900 with Recaller. The widget is used to simply record the current phone conversation in AAC format. Recorded calls are stored in the N900 flash storage. Simply push the widget during a phone conversation and it will automatically record the call. Multiple recaller widgets may even be placed on each virtual desktops. I proved this very valuable because if you only put one widget in one desktop, you will have to swipe back to that desktop if you wish to record a call. With one widget per desktop, you will simply have to go back to any desktop and start recording a conversation.

Recaller is currently available at Maemo Extras-Devel repository. Please be informed that though this application worked flawlessly on my phone, the possibility for it mess up my or your phone is likely because it is still in beta stage.
