On Weibo, business-related accounts continue to release official clips and teasers showcasing the Huawei P60 Pro flagship’s zoom features. The company is expected to make the Huawei P60 series official in China next week.

The new phone will be able to shoot a photo with the sun in the background while keeping foreground features suitably lighted and legible, according to Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei CBG.

The phone can also capture in-depth images of an item that is illuminated in nearly total darkness. The phone, according to an official video, would theoretically be able to capture exceedingly fine-grained photographs of the moon that would defy the rules of physics and optics.

Huawei is anticipated to introduce a new variety of periscope lenses that would provide even better nighttime images.

The new OV64B sensor’s array will be RYYB, eliminating the green pixel, which could theoretically allow for more light in images taken in low light. A patent with CNIPA indicated that it will include a 6P lens in the back of the Prism OIS and 3.6x zoom.

Huawei P60 Series camera 2

The main 50MP camera on the Huawei P60 Pro should use a 1/1.4″ Sony IMX888 sensor and an adjustable aperture range of f/1.4–4.0. The third camera will use a 50MP 1/2.51″ Sony IMX858 sensor and an ultrawide lens.

The P series has always focused on photography, and Huawei undoubtedly has some outstanding technology in store. We anticipate learning additional information before the event on March 23.
