Redmi K60 Series Launched in China with 120Hz AMOLED Panels

Xiaomi previously held a launch event to close out the year 2022 with a bang for Redmi where the Redmi K60 series was introduced. The Redmi K60 series is comprised of the Redmi K60, K60 Pro, and K60E.

Despite all being part of the Redmi K60 series, the three have different chipsets. The K60 Pro is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, while the vanilla K60 has the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Lastly, the Redmi K60E is powered by the Dimensity 8200 chipset.

With that out of the way, here’s a deeper dive into the members of the Redmi K60 series.

Redmi K60 Pro

The most powerful of the three devices is the Redmi K60 Pro with a 6.67-inch QHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 16MP front camera in a punch hole. The panel also has the Auto Brightness 2.0 algorithm that learns how the device is used to adjust the brightness for each process.

Around the back is a trio of shooters headlined by a Sony IMX800 50MP camera with OIS and EIS. This is accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro snapper.

The device is equipped with a Surge P1 charging chip that handles power distribution for its 5000mAh battery and ensures that the 120W fast charging keeps the phone and battery protected.

Redmi K60

The Redmi K60 shares some of the specs of its Pro sibling including the 6.67-inch panel and 16MP front shooter as well its design.

It also shares the 8MP ultrawide lens and 2MP macro snapper but has a 64MP main sensor. Additionally, it has a slightly larger 5500mAh battery but lower fast charging support at 67W.

Redmi K60E

The last member of the Redmi K60 series is the Redmi K60E and it is considered to be an efficient smartphone. It shares the same panel as the vanilla K60 as well as battery capacity and fast charging but doesn’t support wireless charging.

Around the back, it has a 48MP primary sensor but retains the accompanying cameras. Additionally, instead of UFS 4.0 storage and LPDDR5 RAM, the E model comes with UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5 only.

The Redmi K60 comes in five configurations and is priced at:

• 8/128GB – CNY 2,499 (around PHP 20,200)
• 8/256GB – CNY 2,699 (around PHP 21,800)
• 12/256GB – CNY 2,999 (around PHP 24,200)
• 12/512GB – CNY 3,299 (around PHP 26,600)
• 16/512GB – CNY 3,599 (around PHP 29,100)

The Redmi K60 Pro, on the other hand, has four memory variants and is available in China for:

• 8/128GB – CNY 3,299 (around PHP 26,600)
• 8/256GB – CNY 3,599 (around PHP 29,100)
• 12/256GB – CNY 3,899 (around PHP 31,500)
• 12/512GB – CNY 4,299 (around PHP 34,700)

Lastly, the Redmi K60E will be sold in four variants and will go for:
