realme is set to launch the realme GT Neo 5 soon and now the company has confirmed it will feature the world’s first 240W fast charging support.

The phone’s details are still scarce but rumors have suggested that this device may be powered by a Snapdragon 8 + Gen 1. In addition, another model is said to come with 150W fast charging and a Dimensity 8200 under the hood.
Moreover, the camera system is reported to consist of a 50MP main camera, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP sensor, and a 16MP selfie cam paired with a 6.7-inch 1.5K (1,240 x 2,772p) resolution display with a 144Hz refresh rate.
The GT Neo 5 features 13 temp sensors that will monitor the charging process and is ready to shut down when the heat goes over safe levels. The company promises that the battery will stay at 80% capacity even after 1,600 charge cycles.
realme also unveiled its 240W charger. It will support both 20V/12A and 10V/24A operations. Size-wise it will only be 5% bigger than the 150W version.
As of now, the GT 5 Neo’s battery capacity and charging time is still under wraps so for now we can only wait for the launch coming next month.
