OPPO has just debuted its newest mid-range smartphone for the Philippine market. The OPPO A96 aims to bring powerful performance and imaging capabilities, in conjunction with a stunning design and great longevity.

The device makes use of the Glow Design, allowing the surface to sparkle with its “million nano-level star diamonds,” while also being safe from scratches and free of fingerprints. It’s also IPX5 dustproof and IPX4 waterproof, giving you confidence to take it on your adventures without worry.

OPPO A96 has a 6.59-inch FHD+ LTPS display with a 5-level adaptive refresh rate, which can go up to 90Hz. At the helm is a Snapdragon 680 processor backed by 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, expandable via a microSD card. For the camera department, there’s a 50MP main sensor paired with a 2MP bokeh unit. The front houses a 16MP snapper.

The phone runs ColorOS 11.1 on top of Android 11 and packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W SuperVOOC fast-charging. Other features include a USB-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and Bluetooth 5.0.

OPPO A96 Pricing and Availability

OPPO A96 comes in two colors – Starry Black and Pearl Pink, and is priced at PhP15,999. It will be available at OPPO’s official store in Lazada starting May 5, Shopee on May 25, and OPPO Brand Stores starting May 8, 2022.

The brand also announced its OPPO Game On Cup 2022: A96 Mobile Legends Tournament, wherein 128 teams from the OPPO Game On community will battle it out for a chance to claim the title of champion. Registration runs from May 4 to 18.
