The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League – Philippines Season 9 (MPL-PH Season 9) is set to once again look for the best Filipino team in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) starting February 18.

The latest season will comprise of Bren Esports, Echo, Smart Omega, Nexplay EVOS, TNC Pro, RSG Philippines, ONIC PH, and the defending Blacklist International. The eight franchised teams will be battling it out for a USD 150,000 prize pool this season.

Samsung joins as the season’s official device partner, which included brand integration throughout the tournament.

Moreover, the new season brings new rules. The first ranked time this season will determine the placement of the third or fourth-ranked teams to be placed in either the first or second match. Additionally, the same will follow for the subsequent ranked fifth or sixth positioned teams as well.

Teams can now also have as many as three assistant coaches or analysts to support them but only one will help the head coach in the draft phase.

MPL-PH Season 9 will start on February 18 with playoffs starting on April 28 and concluding on May 1, 2022. The games will be played on Friday at 6 PM onwards, Saturday at 4 PM onwards, and Sunday at 4 PM onwards.
