realme officially unveiled its latest flagship realme GT 2 series earlier this month. The new series is the company’s most premium offering with the aim to break into the high-end market.

Among these include the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and up to an LTPO 2.0 display.

Here are some of the top features of the new flagship series:

Eco-friendly paper-inspired design

realme collaborated with industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa to create the world’s first bio-based polymer design inspired by the concept of paper art.

The exterior of the realme GT 2 Pro Master Edition is made of sustainable Sabic bio-based materials extracted from renewable raw materials. The materials reduce carbon emissions by up to 63% per kilogram and reduce fossil feedstock consumption by up to 35%.

The design also passed the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC). Additionally, it passed other environmental regulation standards like REACH, RoHS, and EPEAT.

2K AMOLED Flat Display with LTPO 2.0 Technology

The realme GT 2 Pro adopts the 2K AMOLED Flat Display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

Its display also features 10bit and has an HDR10+ certification and DisplayMate A+ grade. Additionally, it uses LPTO 2.0 technology with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

150° Ultra-wide Camera and 40x micro-lens Camera

The GT 2 Pro has a triple camera setup with a 150° ultra-wide camera and a 40x micro-lens sensor.

The 50MP main lens has an IMX766 sensor underneath with Omni-directional PDAF and OIS features. Meanwhile, the 150° ultra-wide lens has a built-in fisheye mode that can capture extreme panoramas.

Lastly, the 40X micro-lens camera can take extreme close-ups with amazing detail.

The realme GT 2 Pro also features a 5000mAh battery with 65W SuperDart Charge and Dolby Atmos Dual Stereo speakers.

The realme GT 2, on the other hand, shares the design, battery, realme UI 3.0, and RAM but features a 120Hz E4 AMOLED panel. Under the hood, the vanilla variant is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G chipset cooled by Stainless Steel Vapor Cooling Plus.
