ASUS has just announced the refreshed TUF Gaming laptops preloaded with Windows 11 and powered by Intel and AMD. In addition, the 2022 models come with new designs and a new MUX Switch for unlocking more GPU performance.
The refreshed lineup is comprised of the TUF Gaming F15 and F17, TUF Dash F15, and TUF Gaming A15/17.
All the refreshed models are equipped with high refresh rate display options including FHD 300Hz panels for the fastest competitive shooters or QHD 165Hz for more immersive experiences. Additionally, they feature a hardware MUX Switch and access to the Armoury Crate software to switch to a direct GPU mode that reduces latency and boosts performance by 5-10% on average.
They also feature Arc Flow Fans for cooling. The fans feature an 84 blade design with varying thickness for each individual blade.
The new TUF gaming lineup also has an updated design inspired by mecha anime. This is especially seen with the Jaeger Gray edition and the embossed version on the Mecha Gray machine. As they are part of the TUF Gaming series, the 2022 versions still retain the MIL-STD-810H certification.
The 2022 ASUS TUF Gaming F15 and F17 lead this year’s lineup with the 12th generation Intel Core i7-12700H processor and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 laptop GPU with a 140W max TGP. Meanwhile, the TUF Gaming A15 and A17 come equipped with an AMD Ryzen 6800H processor.

Meanwhile, the TUF Dash F15 features the 12th generation Intel Core i7-12650H processor and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. The laptop also has DDR5 RAM at 4800MHz and dual 4.0 capable SSD slots for more storage.
The Dash F15 has a QHD 165Hz panel with a 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. It also features a Thunderbolt 4 support for adding an external dock or a high-speed storage drive. Additionally, it supports USB Type-C Power Delivery up to 100W.
