Apple has just quietly launched its official MagSafe battery pack, the latest accessory that utilizes the MagSafe technology.
The Battery Pack can be recharged with up to 20W of power via a lightning port. It is also capable of recharging the iPhone 12 at up to 15W but requires the pack to be connected to an adapter of 20W or higher. Moreover, the pack can also be recharged if the iPhone is connected to power.
When not connected to power, the Battery Pack recharges the iPhone at 5W. The pack is also reported to have a capacity of 1460mAh which is enough to fully charge the iPhone 12 mini.
The MagSafe Battery Pack comes in white with a matte finish. It is available from Apple’s website and is priced at USD 99.
