ASUS has finally lifted the curtains off the newest additions to its signature ZenFone lineup. Meet the new ZenFone 8 and ZenFone 8 Flip, and yes, you’ve guessed it right. The latter has the unique flip camera module that lets you use the rear cameras for a quick and high-quality selfie.
Both devices boast FHD+ Samsung AMOLED displays, 5.9-inches on ZenFone 8, and 6.67-inches on the ZenFone 8 Flip. The former also boasts a 120Hz refresh rate, while the latter has 90Hz. Under the hood is no less than the Snapdragon 888 5G mobile platform along with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM on the vanilla and 8GB on the Flip, as well as up to 256GB of storage.
For optics, the two flagships are equipped with a 64MP Sony IMX686 camera, along with a 12MP Sony IMX363 ultra-wide unit. The ZenFone 8 Flip has an additional 8MP Telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and up to 12x total zoom. For the vanilla variant, you get a 12MP Sony IMX663 front snapper with dual-phase detection autofocus.
Both phones run on ZenUI 8 on top of Android 11. ZenFone 8 packs a 4,000mAh battery, while ZenFone 8 Flip houses a 5,000mAh power pack. Both support Quick Charge 4.0 and Power Delivery Charging.

ASUS ZenFone 8 is priced starting at 599 Euros, while ZenFone 8 Flip will retail starting at 799 Euros. ASUS has also confirmed that the new ZenFone devices are coming to the Philippines, with local SRPs to be announced at a later date.
