Right before the Note 10 Launch, Samsung announced what we speculate is the chip that could be running the device. The new Exynos 9825 is built on a 7nm  EUV (Extreme Ultraviolet Lithography) process, expected to deliver up to 30% faster transistor performance while using up to 50% less power.

The Exynos 9825 utilizes a duo of custom cores, along with two high performance Cortex-A75 and four high efficiency Cortex- A55 cores. It uses the same GPU as the Exynos 9820, the Mali-G76 though this time, with a higher clock speed. It also uses an NPU or Neural Processing Unit in charge of AI-related tasks.

It supports 8x carrier aggregation, up to Cat. 20 LTE download speeds (up to 2Gbps) and up to 316Mbps upload speeds. Best of all, it’s 5G-ready. The Exynos 9825 supports, 8K video encoding at 30FPS,  4K at 150FPS, and HDR10+.

Devices powered by this chip can have up to 4096 x 2160 display resolution. It also supports UFS 3.0 storage, a 22MP camera at the rear, a 22MP front shooter, and dual 16MP snappers.

Will this chip power the Note 10 series? we’ll just have to wait and see!
