HMD Global, the home of Nokia smartphones, unveiled its latest lineup of devices for the Philippine market – the Nokia 8.1, 3.2, and 2.2.
Nokia 8.1
Nokia 8.1 sports a 6.18″ FHD+ PureDisplay, and runs on a Snapdragon 710 along with up 4GB/6GB of RAM, and 64GB/128GB of storage, expandable with a microSD card.
It uses a combination of a 12MP and 13MP shooter at the back with OIS and Zeiss optics, and a 20MP front camera. It runs on Android 9 Pie, and packs a 3,500mAh battery with 18W fast-charging via a USB-C port. Other notable features include NFC, Bluetooth 5, and Nokia OZO surround sound capture.
Nokia 3.2
Nokia 3.2 on the other hand, is a budget-oriented offering, and has a 6.26-inch HD+ display. Under the hood, a Snapdragon 429 is in charge of performance, and is backed by 2GB/3GB of RAM, and 16GB/32GB of expandable storage.
Unlike the 8.1, the 3.2 uses a single 13MP sensor at the back, along with a 5MP shooter up front. It also runs on Android 9 Pie, and houses a larger 4,000mAh battery.
Nokia 2.2
The most affordable of the lot, Nokia 2.2, runs on a Helio A22, with content shown in a 5.71-inch HD+ display. It has 2GB/3GB of RAM, and 16GB/32GB of storage.
The device has a 13MP rear shooter, along with a 5MP front camera. It runs on Android 9 Pie and packs a 3,000mAh battery.
All three devices are part of the Android One program, which means they run with minimal to no bloatware, come with Google Assistant built-in, are designed with intelligent power management, can prioritize background activity for important apps, and last but not the least, are guaranteed to receive regular security updates.
