Cosmic Technologies Brings Tronsmart to the Philippines

Popular power and data accessories for smartphones brand, Tronsmart, is finally in the Philippines thru Cosmic Technologies. Based in LongGang, Shenzhen, China, Tronsmart is known for producing cables, power and data accessories compatible with all types of mobile consumer electronics. The have quite a plethora of products ranging from USB Type-C cables, chargers with Qualcomm Quick charge technology, power banks and lightning cables.

The availability of Tronsmart products is made possible by Cosmic Technologies, or the company behind Cherry Mobile. Initially, the product will be sold exclusively at Cherry Mobile stores and kiosks nationwide. Later this year, Cosmic Technologies will also make the products available at other brick and mortar gadget stores, and via online.

According to Agnes Conopio, the PR Head of Cosmic Technologies, the price ceiling of Tronsmart products is PhP2000.

Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 Compatible Chargers

During the first phase of their presence in the Philippines, Cosmic Technologies’ Mobile Accessories Product lead, Kester Sy, Tronsmart will bring wall and car chargers with Qualcomm QuickCharge 3.0 technogy. The charges will come in various variants and compatibilities like Micro USB, USB and USB Type C.This is the company’s competitive edge as they are licensed by Qualcomm to embed such technology to their chargers.

Apart from the above features and products, Tronsmart also has chargers and power banks with Voltiq technology. In theory, such technology is like Qualcomm’s Quick Charge, but compatible to all devices. The former is only compatible with Qualcomm-powered devices, while the latter intelligently identifies the required ampere of the device being charged (regardless of processor and system) and delivers the required power required to charge the device at optimum speed.

Tronsmart will also start selling USB to USB Type C converters, power banks, microUSB and USB Type-C cables.
