If you fancy holding a big smartphone with 4G LTE and solid body, you will adore the O+ Venti 4G.

But what’s the hype about 4G?

The 4G LTE feature immortalizes the O+Venti 4G as the name implies. Many consumers have been gaining access to 4G networks. If you are eyeing for a smartphone you’ll keep for more than a year, you should definitely go for this one. If you find it pointless, think of it as a long-term investment because we live in a fast-paced world. Only then you’ll find its true value, especially when you use Internet every day for work and leisure.

The downloading and uploading speed are up to 150 and 50 Mbps. It’s still different when you’re using 4G than the usual 3G we have. No more loading and buffering time. I was browsing Facebook without lags and was watching YouTube videos without interruption.

Despite being only qHD resolution with low pixel density at a big size, it comes pretty handy. The colors are vivid, brightness intact, and the performance is reliable. The 6-inch screen display will give users a better gaming and watching experience.

O+ Venti 4G 20

Venti 4G’s battery packs a power of 3000mAh, with talk time up to 20 hours (2G) and 18 hours (3G), that could last a day. That’s almost twice the power of iPhone 6’s battery which is in 1810 mAh. If I hadn’t used it to surf the internet, I think I could have survived more than a day without charging.

O+ Venti 4G 19

It runs with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system on a 1.3Ghz quad core processor. It has 1GB of RAM and mid range-performance GPU. This is enough to make the performance seem so seamless. The swipes and scrolls are fast, and so are the clicks and switches operations.

The phone houses an 8.0 Megapixel Back Camera with LED Flash and 5.0 Megapixel Front Camera. The photos are nice and detailed. But, if you want to take photos with a superb quality, this phone might not be right for you. Camera comes with Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, autofocus, self-timer, panorama and more. The catch for video enthusiasts is that you can capture 720p@30fps HD video recording.

With a GPU of ARM Mali-400 MP2, it’s good for gaming too. The big screen will add an exciting experience and the 1GB RAM is pretty insane for its price.

Venti’s phone sound system has mp3 ringtones and loudspeaker with stereo speakers. You can also use 3.5mm jack for headphones and even use the radio.

More features include accelerometer, proximity, and a light sensor that support different messaging types. The whole phone weight and dimensions are – 157 grams and 165.9 mm x 84.8 mm x 9.0 mm.

The Verdict

The O+ Venti 4G is for those who are looking for big smartphones with good battery life and 4G capabilities.

This is not for the people who want smaller hand-held phone that the palm can grasp. It is rather for those who will enjoy a big screen and touch experience. O+ Venti 4G is for those who want to receive more that what they are paying for. Gamers and movie-lovers would find the phone perfect.  It features fast connectivity, quality performance, and a long battery life. These will give them a hard time to resist on getting one.

This particular phone costs Php 6,395 and it’s definitely worth every penny.
