Some say that the “PC” — otherwise known as Personal Computer — as we know it may be going away soon. Because never mind desktop computers, it seems that more and more people are apparently buying phones and tablets over actual laptops these days, right? Well, there are still people out there who prefer to use a computer on a table-top. How do we know this? Because we are among those people.

For that reason, we felt mildly delighted when we learned that ASUS was launching the premium Asus Zen AiO Pro all-in-one PCs here in the Philippines. These are high-end all-in-one desktop computer that are more than just simple workhorses. They can also be used as stylish centerpieces to any room or office.

Here’s what you need to know about the new Asus Zen AiO Pro specs-wise:

The all-in-one body is actually a unibody shell made out of a single block of anodized aluminum, and it’s colored Icicle Gold for maximum premium effect. The display, which measures 23.8-inches diagonally, is covered with edge-to-edge glass for that added durability and look of undisputed luxury.

And as for the overall design, it’s decorated with the Asus signature spun-metal Zen-inspired concentric circles on the front. And that’s how you know it’s an Asus Zen device through and through. The preloaded OS is Windows 10.

The Asus Zen AiO Pro runs on a 6th-gen Intel Core i7-6700T processor with 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and graphics are handled by an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M GPU with 4GB of DDR5 VRAM. Other features include PCIe 3.0 x4 M.2 SSD storage, 802.111 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 wireless, a 2-in-1 card reader, Ethernet LAN, ports for a headphone and a mic, a Kensington lock slot, and an assortment of USB ports (1 x USB 3.1 Type C, 4 x USB 3.0, 1 x USB 2.0).

There’s an option to connect the Zen AiO Pro to external monitors with the use of its two (2) built-in HDMI ports. So immediately, you’ll be able to add to the available screen real estate. And how much does this baby cost? The Asus Zen AiO Pro has a retail price of Php 97,995 at launch. That’s for the model with the specs that we enumerated above, so there’s a possibility that it may be acquired for cheaper with more modest specs.
