Just in case you missed this, last July 14, Asus teased the gorgeous looking ZenPad 7 in their Facebook page. It quickly stormed the internet, and it was followed by the sudden availability of a ZenPad dedicated page on Asus’ official website.

Zenpad 7

There are plenty to things to love and rave about the ASUS ZenPad. Its stylish and professional design utterly overshadow the design of other tablets. It’s something that you’d love to carry around even at parties and events. Such is the power of a well-thought of design – it’s balanced and looks perfect at any occasion.

The most surprising in its design and hardware built is its metallic frame. Based on specs, ZenPad 7.0’s metallic frame has an enhanced coating with non-conductive vacuum metallization. Well, the term is intimidating so it must be really good! Kidding aside, such technology brings out elegance in its design without sacrificing quality and durability.

Under the hood, ZenPad 7.0 is powered by Quad-Core, 64bit processor (Intel Atomâ„¢ x3-C3230). It has a 2GB of RAM and comes in 8gb or 16gb of internal storage. The device’s GPU is a Mali-450 MP4, a mid-entry GPU which offers premium performance.

ASUS’ website lists down several variant/configurations of the ZenPad 7 so things are still blurry as to what they’re officially bringing in to the Phillippines. I, for one, am very excited to see more teasers on their Facebook page. I would love to know as well if they’re also keen on launching ZenPad 8.0 S, which sports far superior innards and premium design.

Audio

*Update: According to ASUS Philippines, while ZenPad 7 already has DTS Premium Sound and DTS Sound technology, they will also bring in its ASUS Audio Cover, which delivers 5.1-channel surround sound that is 6x louder than the tablet’s current speaker system.
