In case you’re short on budget, and you’re actively scouting for an LTE smartphone, LG has 2 offerings, which you might want to consider looking at.

The first one is LG Magna, a 5-inch smartphone with 1.3Ghz Quad-Core processor. Magna’s specs are pretty considerable; it even has 2,540mAh battery, which I find pretty high for an LGbudget smartphone. It runs on Android Kitkat with LG Optimus UI sitting on top of the aforementioned OS.

You can buy an LG Magna for only PhP9,999.

Here are sample photos for your reference:

LG MAGNA SPECIFICATIONS:

Display: 5.0-inch HD (294 ppi)
Chipset: 1.2GHz or 1.3GHz Quad-Core*
Camera: Rear 8MP / Front 5MP
Memory: 8GB / 1GB
Battery: 2,540mAh (removable)
OS: Android 5.0 Lollipop
Network: LTE Cat. 4 / HSPA+ 21Mbps
Size: 139.7 x 69.9 x 10.2mm

The LG Leon, however, comes way cheaper than Magma. Priced PhP5,990, its main difference from the LG Magna is its display size and front-facing camera. It’s smaller in terms of built, andit’s camera is only FWVGA as opposed to Magna, which has a 5-inch HD display.

As previously pointed out, LG Leon’s front facing camera is only VGA. While this is still good especially for video calls, it may not be best one to be used on taking selfies. Should you want to take selfies with this device, be sure that you’re on a well lit place to avoid photo quality degradation.

Here are some photos of the LG Leon:
