Technology giant, Samsung, recently launched a slew of new high to ultra high definition television and audio-visual devices for 2014 last April 24 at Blue Leaf Filipinas.
Chung Lyong Lee, Samsung Electronics Philippines Corporation (SEPCO) President and Managing Director said, “This year will be a big year for entertainment.” We couldn’t help but agree on what she said as the Blue Leaf Filipinas is filled with new devices from Samsung.
Samsung’s most celebrated device, which was also launched last April 24 was the World’s First Curved Ultra High-Definition (UHD) TV. The said device boasts crisp picture quality about 4x more powerful that of a FHD screen. With this new device, you can enjoy the videos taken by the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S5.
What’s the perk of having a curved display?
As compared to flat screen TVs, this special screen allows for a more realistic viewing experience even from different angles—ensuring that everyone gets the best seat in the house. The combination of the curved screen and Samsung Proprietary Auto Depth Enhancer UHD technology automatically adjusts contrast for a greater sense of depth and gives a 3D-like effect without requiring glasses. Imagine seeing images coming to life right in front of you in spectacular color, clarity and detail that only Samsung can give. Amazing, isn’t it? Even the color is further enhanced using the PurColor technology that reproduces color for even more detailed expression.

Speaking of features, Samsung’s curved UHD TV has an Auto Depth Enhancer, which moves users closer to experiencing life-life images. With this feature, users would see a greater sense of depth because of different areas of images and content are enhanced with different levels of contrast.
There is a also an innovative 4-step UHD Upscaling, which converts lower resolution content closer to UHD picture quality, enhance the details of video images.
Its PurColour feature displays the colors in natural state by expressing a wide range of colors as close to nature as possible.
And of course, this TV is also future ready thanks to its UHD Evolution Kit. With this kit, the UHD TV can be updated to be compatible with future UHD standards without buying a new TV.
The Curved UHD SMART TV is available in 78-inches, 65-inches, and 55-inches in all Samsung outlets nationwide.
